Zermatt Photo Diary: Day 7: Riffelalp and Chemi Hitta

At quickie stop at Fuchs (cafe). Yes, the milk container is made out of chocolate.

Riffelalp (Click here).
I made some friends while we were up there. Were still in touch :)

...followed by yet another hot chocolate. The Riffelap restaurant is to die for but we actually ate at...
...Chemi Hitta which is equally a nice restaurant. I had bratwurst with rosti, while admiring the incredible view.
Awww, all snuggled up! My Uncle, Nan and sister :)
This is the last of my Zermatt Photo Diaries. I had so much fun! Can't wait to go again in the Summer!

Weekend Fashion Inspo

Spring has finally arrived in London (hopefully it's here to stay). The sun is shining, although I could do with it just a tad warmer (but us Brits do love a good moan, don't we). Have a good weekend!

Tuesday Ten: In Need of Adventure

Spring is the  most hopeful season of the year. Along with the warmer days and budding blooms that symbolize spring also come the hopes of dining outdoors, the confidence to throw on that new floral dress, and the exciting feeling of trying new activities. I've always been an advocate of making seasonal to-do lists in order to keep life interesting. Today I have a few ideas up my sleeve that will have you ready to embrace any adventure that comes your way. Without further ado, here are 10 spring adventures that have made my bucket list…

  1. A weekend in Paris with my family
  2. Redecorate my bedroom
  3. Spring-ify my closet
  4. Bake some goodies (lemon drizzle cake for sure!)
  5. Have a movie night with my Nan (watch the Audrey Hepburn movie)
  6. Lighten my hair
  7. Revamp my makeup routine
  8. Have an Easter party/ celebration
  9. Kick back and relax (de-stress)
  10. Go to central London more often at night
Hope you all had fun reading what I plan to do during the Easter holidays/ Spring break! Hope you are all having a good week so far :)

One Picture: Two Outfits

I love getting inspiration from pictures like above. You can get an idea of colour, texture and culture within a certain place without actually visiting it. It doesn't always have to an image of another country, it can be of anything that inspires you. Base your outfit on the colours you see in the photo, the texture and materials etc. It helps if you want to experiment or play with fashion. I adore the picture above; the hidden streets of Italy. Stunning. So here a couple of outfits I put together that reflect the image...

Shirt - Equipment, shorts - Michael Kors, bag - Marc Jacobs, shoes - Tory Burch, bangles - Ashley Pittman
Dress and lip crayon in Secret Party - both Topshop, bag - Jil Sander and heels - Charlotte Olympia
By the way, this is a little series that I'll be doing every now and then, 'One Picture: Two Outfits'. Hope you all liked it, let me know in the comments box below! And don't forget, please, please, please nominate me here, for a Company Style Blogger Award in the category 'Best Teen Fashion Blog (under 18). Thank you!

Zermatt Photo Diary: Day Six: Lunch at Blatten

My Nan, Grandad and I walking down down to the Blatten restaurant with rumbling tummy's!

At one point, we had to walk across a ski piste - I almost got hit by a skier...

Mmmm, I love Blatten. Looking back now is making me so hungry! Above is what my Nan had, it's the vegetable platter. I had noodles in tomato sauce and this bad boy for dessert...

Black and white chocolate mousse. Yum.

This is what my sister, Jess, had for dessert. Apple fritters with cinnamon sauce. More yum.

My Style...

Defining your own individual, personal style is one of the greatest things about fashion. Fashion designers have their own style that they incorporate into their designs. Defining your style is the fun part. You get to consider all aspects of fashion, colour choices, what shops work for you and the ones that don't, fabrics and all that shebang. My style is very 'city', sophisticated, very classic and chic. I like to add feminine pieces and mix them with grungy statements, and occasionally add in a trend or two that I quite like. My favourite garments are trench coats, skinny jeans, knitted jumpers, ankle boots and satchel bags. I guess you could say that my style is a mix of British and Parisian styles. The collages above define my style perfectly. Celebrities like Miranda Kerr, Poppy Delevigne and Millie Mackintosh are wonderful examples.

There will soon be a post on how to find your own style, but in the mean time, why not read this?

It's My Birthday Today!

Yet another milestone to mark on the calendar. Happy birthday to me, and whoever this St Patrick guy is...We started off the day, opening my goodies and card in bed then headed straight off to Carluccio's for brekkie. Mmmm, I love a good breakfast out - I had smoked pancetta (bacon) and scrambled egg on toast with grilled tomato and apple juice. All scoffed up within a second. Boom, next thing I know, birthday cake landed in front of me. My wish? Well, as long as you don't tell anyone. My wish was for my life to be just the way it is. Now, onto prezzies. This is in no way me blabbing or boasting about what I got, I just like to share things with you guys :) Click below to see the rest.

Spring-ify Your Home:

http://pinterest.com/allthingsfoxy/for-the-home/

ALL pictures from my Pinterest page 'For the Home', here.

There's something about interior design that I love. I could flip though a whole album of Pottery Barn or Kelly Hoppen pictures and just gaze and lust over beautiful homes. I hate 'shabby chic' or too modern homes. I simply appreciate homes that are homes. Ones that are a bit lived in, light, airy and fresh, splashes of colour here and there and a beautiful vase of pink flowers positioned by a stunning view.  I can't wait to Spring clean my bedroom.
