Who's was your favourite? I like the second one down from the top with the denim chinos. Nautical, but the deeper red keeps it more classy and mature.

My Week On Instagram...

Firstly, apologies for the lack of  Outfit of the week posts, Its been raining all day, everyday here in London and that's no exaggeration (yet were in drought, how does that work out?!). So I haven't really been able to do much photography other than when I'm out and about... Here's how my week turned out!

Yum! Nothing beats a cinnamon latte...

Yup. My house smells gooood right now. Rather edible.

Don't think these peepers are coming out anytime soon :(

It managed to stop raining at around 8:30 at night; had to take a picture of these one-off British pink sunsets...

Saturday snack! Or rather, an everyday snack :)

Hope you all had an amazing week, speak soon girls!

Currently In Love With: Equipment Shirts

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh. I think I'm in love with these Equipment washed silk-crepe de chine shirts. I love the flush corals and dusty lemon shirt is extremely cute for Summer. The conversational fruit and rose print shirts are great either tucked into a pair of black skinnies or a beige pleated skirt.

The detailing on each one really elevates the shirt into a modern, casual feel. I love the shiny-matte effect (if you get what I mean...) with the chest pockets and the option to roll-up sleeves. I desperately want one right now. If only I had £230, oh well, a girl can dream!

What are you currently in love with? Happy Friday everyone, have fun!

Style Guide: What Wear to Prom!

Reblogged from Lauren Conrad.com

If you’re in high school, there is only one thing on your mind right now: Prom! It’s one of the quintessential high school experiences that will stick with you for a lifetime. For most of us, it’s the first time you really get to dress up like a princess for a night. And because it is such a special night, it calls for a very special dress.

Lauren says: "Back when I was in school, gowns were the go-to dress of choice. (Let me tell you, gowns can get pretty pricey). Thankfully, prom trends have broadened and shorter hemlines have been embraced."

Without further ado, here are a few of my favourite looks for prom along with my top picks (click here for Lauren Conrad's!)  for each look listed below…

Click on the item you want to no more information about.

Fun & Frilly

Sophisticated

Retro Chic

Casual Elegance

Whether you went to prom or not, the looks listed above are a great guide for any special events you may have on your calendar for spring or summer. Have fun girls!

Tuesday Ten: Must-Have Basic Accessories

Its quite surprising how much a little delicate pendant or a chunky cuff can make. Sometimes, its actually the more subtler items that people notice more. Everybody has some form of an accessory, whether it be a scarf or bag. Sometimes, we find it quite hard to find everyday accessories or accessories for nights out but what it all come down to are the basics and the must-haves...

All items from Topshop

  1. Winter scarf (knitted)
  2. Summer scarf (lightweight and a fun colour)
  3. Cross-body bag for the weekend
  4. Clutch
  5. Holdall bag/work bag
  6. Stud earrings
  7. Pendant necklace
  8. Belts
  9. Gloves (not necessarily thick winter ones)
  10. Sunglasses
Everyone has their own essentials, but if you don't have these then you don't even have the basic accessories. Remember, accessories are supposed to elevate and add depth to your outfit, so make them colourful and stand out (unless your purposely going for a subtle approach). Happy Tuesday!

Ten-Step Guide to Perfect Makeup with the Help of Bobbi Brown!

I got a lot of requests on a basic, simple makeup look by one of my followers, so here you go! To help me along the way, I'm using my Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual. Pre-makeup you should exfoliate your face to help slough off dead skin cells, wash with clean cold water which will close any pores and then moisturize for your skin type. Remember to always use a gentle eye cream to ensure that under-eye concealer goes on smoothly and evenly. Right, lets get to it!

Step 1: Corrector/concealer: First, neutralize darkness with a pink or peach toned corrector. Apply with a brush, apply with a brush to the deepest or darkest area to prepare for concealer. Choose a yellow-based shade of concealer (for under-eyes) if you have blue bags underneath your eyes or green-based if you have red. Blend by patting with your fingers and sweeping with a brush. Lastly, apply yellow or white powder with a brush or or puff to set the concealer in place.

Step 2: Foundation: Use a brush, sponge, or fingers to apply foundation where the skin needs to be evened out (or use a primer if you really need even skin) - around the nose and mouth where there is often redness. To cover blemishes, spot apply foundation stick or blemish cover stick in a shade that matches the skin tone exactly. Pat with your fingers to blend. If your skin is extremely dry, or you'd prefer a more sheer casual alternative to foundation, try tinted moisturizer.

Step 3 & 4: Powder and blusher: For crease-free, long wear, apply loose powder in a pale yellow tone (or white if you are very fair) over concealer using an eyeshadow blender brush or a mini powder puff. If skin feels dry, dust powder only around the nose and forehead. For blusher, smile and apply a natural shade of blush on the apples of cheeks. Blend up toward the hairline, then downward to soften the colour. Start off with your natural cheek colour, then apply a pop of brighter blush on top. For an extra glow, dust a shimmer powder of the cheekbones with a face blender brush, or use a creamy formula applied with your fingers.

Step 5 & 6: Lipstick/gloss & liner: Try and buy a lip exfoliater (Lush Cosmetics do loads of tasty ones!) to smooth and clean lips. Then use a lip balm or lip moisturizer. Neutral lipstick shades and sheer formulas can be applied directly from the tube. Use a lip brush to apply darker or brighter colours, which require precise application. Use the natural colour of your lips as a guide when choosing a lipstick shade. To achieve natural-looking definition, use lip liner. To keep colour from feathering, line lips with a lip liner after applying lip colour. Use a lip brush to soften any hard edges.

Step 7, 8 & 9: Brows, eyeshadow and liner: Define browns using shadow or pencil i the colour of your eyebrows and hair. To apply shadow, begin at the inner corner of the brow, and follow its natural shape using light, feathery strokes. For eyeshadow, sweep a light eye colour from the lash to the brown bone. Dust a medium eye shadow colour on the lower lid up to the crease. Neutral shadows work best for everyday wear. Line the upper lash line with a dark shadow colour. After lining the upper lash line, look straight ahead to see if there are any gaps that need to be filled in. Apply liquid liner if you want, with fast but steady strokes (sometimes if you spend too much time of liquid liner you are at more risk of creating an error). Apply pencil to the lower lash line and let it join up the to the corner of your eye with the liquid eye liner.

Step 10: Mascara: Choose your brush shape very carefully, each brush can create different looks. Synthetic bristles create a more natural look whereas the rubber bristles create more definition and volume. When applying mascara, hold the mascara wand parallel to the floor and brush from the base of the lashes to the tips. Roll the wand as you go. Brush vertically and horizontally to avoid clumps. Never brush with the tip of the wand and always apply two to three coats.

Hope you enjoyed this post, have fun and look good!

Summer Trend #3: The Hot Pant with Blazers

The hot pant is back, with its high waist and short leg - I consider this as the knicker short. However, there incredibly cute for Summer. Paired with a chic, sophisticated blazer - we get juxtaposition (where two opposites are next to each other) with the relaxed, casual denim and the stiff blazer. I personally love pairing denim hot pants with blazers, its a very versatile combination! Here are three ways to wear one of Summer hottest pairings: the hot pant and blazer...

Shorts and shoes - both Topshop, blazer - ASOS, top - H&M

Blazer and shoes - both H&M, top and bracelets - Mango, shorts - River Island

Shoes, shorts and blazer - all Topshop, bag - ASOS, shirt -Jack Wills

What's In My Makeup Bag?

This is all of the base, skin products. Foundation, concealer etc. I use Body Shop Vitamin E Tinted Moisturizer which is basically foundation mixed with moisturizer. Its light, creamy and gives a really nice tint to skin. I have two concealers, Erase Paste from Benefit and Natural Collection blemish stick. I use two because I use them for different areas; Erase Paste for under-eye circles and on spots/blemishes. And I use Natural Collection Blemish Stick on red areas and also spots/blemishes. To help blend them both, I use Revlon concealer brush.

Yes, I have 4 mascaras! Rimmel Day-to-Night Glam Eyes 2-in-1 mascara for length and volume, No7 Exquisite Curl mascara for curling the lashes, Max Factor Masterpiece mascara for separating the lashes and then finally Maybelline Great Lash mascara for a real, wet black look. Weird, I know.

Topshop tinted lip balm, hand cream and Ted Baker lip gloss are all a bit random (especially the hand cream) but they all belong in my makeup bag. The lip balm and lip gloss are really pretty shades of pink and look great with my brunette hair.
