First of all, I haven't really had the opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year! I hope it brings lovely things for you all. New year, new makeup look; What's On My Face is back. And today a very pretty pink lip and fluttery lashes - perfect to brighten up the dreary days that January brings.
After applying Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation, I swiftly moved on to swiping my Nars Creamy Concealer under the eyes, around the nose and on any blemishes. Flawless but natural coverage in a flash.
I'm so in love with my Nars Laser Eye Cut Eye,Cheek and Lip Palette, and ever since I got it for Christmas I can't stop using it. But before this, I quickly brushed through my brows with Maybelline Brow Drama for a little definition. Now for the eyeshadow. I applied all three of the shades in the palette; unfortunately they aren't sold separately but I'm sure you can find other alternatives. To finish the eyes, I used Clinique High Impact Extra Volume for fluttery lashes.
To continue with the natural theme, I decided to opt for a cream blush. I chose Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Fresh Melon - which teams perfectly with the bright lip to follow. I've become a big fan of bronzer over the last few months, perhaps because my skin has not seen the sun since August (and I somewhat resemble a ghost). Therefore there was only one product I knew I just had to pick to give me a natural, summer glow - Benefit Hoola Bronzer. Just a little along the forehead, cheekbones, nose and chin.
My new lip additions are also fitting in rather well! I've been using the Clinique Chubby Lip Sticks non-stop, and today I mixed two together: Pudgy Peony and Whoppin' Watermelon. These together give a beautiful wash of sheer fuschia pink.
What was you favourite beauty product of 2014?
I love this look - so dewy and fresh! I've definitely been thinking of cutting back on what I'm slapping on my face recently more to save time in the morning than anything else!
