Tuesday Ten: Most Mispronounced Words in Fashion...

Fashion Week is in full swing and since were all fashion lovers here (really?!) I think now is the perfect time to give you guys a lesson in proper fashion pronunciations! I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I hear Lanvin pronounced Laan-viin or Dolce & Gabbana whispered as doles and Gabbana…for the record, it’s dol-chey. To avoid embarrassing slip-ups I'm going to teach you ladies to how say these names and terms the right way. Here goes, remember to roll your tongue!

2. Yves Saint Laurent - eeves sant la-rahn
3. Louboutin - loo-boo-ton
4. Proenza Schouler - pro-en-za skool-er
5. Givenchy - shee-von-shee
6. Versace - ver-sah-chee
7. Louis Vuitton - loo-ee voo-ton
8. Hermes - air-mez
9. Haute Couture - oat co-toor
10. Lanivn - lahn-vahn
