In honour of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, there was a ceremony which took place at Windsor Castle today for the armed forces. The soldiers walked up along the Long Walk at 10:30am and guess what I had, front row seats ha! Me and my family took camping chairs to sit on to watch, there were over 3000 armed forces from all different bases and areas and over 60,000 people came to watch. The Long Walk leads into the castle ground where the Queen saw the soldiers. They then trooped through Peascod Street and back into the castle grounds. The event was broadcasted on T.V (BBC). Then, after an hour-break, there was the fly-pass. Red arrows, army planes from World War II and planes that spelt out words and numbers. It was an incredible today, and after today, I am very proud to say that I am British!

Well done and thank you to all of the armed forces, your country is behind you.
