My Favourite LFW Show's So Far...

It's about time I did some fashion week coverage isn't it. I've had my eyes peeled at every show since the first day at NYFW but simply, there haven't really been many shows that have truly inspired me. These ones below have. It all starts off tailored, chic and sophisticated with Jasper Conran, finishing in high glamour and and a bit of sparkle.

Jasper Conran

Jasper Conran got things underway with slinky dresses in black and nude, gently tousled hair and red-kissed lips. Dressing gown coats, clean blazers and jackets, and sheer panels on dresses destined for cocktail hour made everything elegant and easy for evening, while punches of orange, and cosy roll-neck jumpers brought something more fun and practical to the table.

Temperley London

Never to disappoint in the 'opulence' department; Temperley London showcased yet again charming and ornate garments that hung closely together with soft, ethereal side braids. Quilted jackets, Greek mosaic-inspired co-ords, knee-length dresses, knitted cardigans and ethereal, rose-print dresses. Against a black and grey base, punches of vivid blue, lilac, khaki and rose were added for an extra kick.

Julien MacDonald

There's simply no end to the amount of dresses that a Julien Macdonald woman can own. Short ones, long ones, knitted beaded numbers; mosaic-smothered floor-sweeping gowns; those with trains of shimmering shards; others with a splash of feathers only here and there to protect one's modesty. Whatever the occasion, it's obviously glamorous - in his world there's simply no point going to anything that isn't.

I promise that there will be a lot more fashion week-related posts coming soon! Burberry Prorsum, my favourite brand of all time, have their AW14 show tomorrow and simply, I cannot wait. Expect A LOT of coverage on that! Speak soon!
